Yard Blooms

The back yard is full of color but with the heat it is taking constant care. I'm anxious to see if the new roses we planted in Winnie's garden will perk up.

Your picture makes me long for some Morning Glory's of my own! I wonder if it's too late to plant them . . .

Nancy,
I knew you were a closet green thumber, yay! Your flowers are beautiful. I know several gardeners from the midwest who consider morning glories as weeds, including myself. Maybe I should give them some thought for next year along the fence.

Cathy, that is pretty amazing, seeing as how I struggle to make mine grow each year. I think the heat here is really hard on them. One year they grew all the way up the trunk of our Bartlett pear and even into the branches and it was glorious. I wish I had a picture of that! Sharon, I bet you could sprout some from seeds.

That's just what I was thinking Nancy. I'll have to make a trip to the local plant store to see what I can find . . . and quick!
