Singing Songs on Saturday

From Howard Pee Pugpants:

Mom's goin on a trip so I wrote a little song fur her.
This here is my main man on guitar, Dad.

All your bags are packed,
you're ready to go
Don't forget to leave Dad a note
To feed me, little Howie
Sixty hundreds times a dayyyyy....

So kiss me and smile fur me,
Don't forget to bring back for me
Bags of yummy snacks and
and all your restaurant take-away....

Cuz mom's leavin' on a jet plane
Don't know when you'll be back again,
so please Ma, could you please
put the treat jar on the floor
and leave the kibble bag open by the door.

I never knew you were so talented Howie...well, other than farting. That's a beautiful song and I'm sure your mom will bring you back some treats.

Oh, Howie, you are a persistent little boy when it comes to your food! I hope your Mom has a good trip.

hahahaha. Ok, so this immediately reminded me of that couple in "Best of Show" where they make the entire CD of dog songs. hahahahaha - Howie, you and your Papi could totally do this! Then you could buy all the kibbles and treats for yourself that you wanted! I think Annie would make a great manager and Java could be your Roadie....or official treat taste tester or something.

Don't let that man out of your sight. Dad's sometimes forget the important things in life.

It looks like you and dad are singing a sad song. Don't worry Howie, mom will be home in a couple days. She probably misses you more than you miss her!

hehehe Oh Howie! You are such a talented musician! And how nice that you've got your Dad on guitar... have you two ever considered starting a real band?

I don't know if you saw my bloggie last week, but I posted some pictures from our Valentines Day date. Thanks for such a great time. :)

That is a great song. But if you get fed so often, won't you need a diet when your mom gets back?
