Winnie, My Heart Pug

Winnie Wiggles went to heaven 3 years ago, after
a battle with GME encephalitis.

I still hear her little paws clicking on the wood floor
at night, coming up the hallway at bedtime.

Winnie posts and pictures always make me cry. I wish she was still here, but I'm thankful for the love you guys crammed into her short time here.

Awww, Mama says that is how it is with her dog that went to the rainbow bridge. She still sees and hears him sometimes...

Thanks for sharing

She had such a sweet face....our little Gus had the same thing and went over the Rainbow Bridge at only 5 months old. We know you all must miss her terribly.

I feel your pain. Our shelter mutt Otis was with us for a brief 18 months over 10 years ago. It;s taken years, but when see something that reminds me of him, I can finally smile.
I hope he is getting belly rubs with sweet Winnie on the other side of the bridge.

Dear Aunt Nancy
My heart is aching right now- with yours.
You miss little Winnie Wiggles and there is nothing I can do to help you.
Hold your heart close,,,
because that is where you can feel her the most.
She never left your heart.
I am so sad for you

Both you and I know what it is to lose a precious baby to this unfair illness. I too hear my Bonita's noises and the way she would curl up at my feet under the blankies when it was time to go to bed.

My heart cries with yours, but remember all the good times and the love your shared with Winnie!!

What a darling little girl! I know how much you miss her and it breaks my heart. My pug Fuji is 12 now and I can't bear to think of me without her. My chihuahua is 10 and frail, very tiny. My Elvis is old as Methuselah and deaf. It's tough to think of losing any of my 6 dogs. They each have their own personalities. Do you still have the foster pug? Thinking of you today, pugs hugs!

It's hard to believe it has been three years already, Nancy. Winnie had such beautiful soulful eyes. I know how much she is missed and will be loved forever!

We never knew Miss Winnie but we think you must miss her like Momma misses our Mr. Pickles. She will always be in your heart.

She was such a cutie. The good memories never quite make up for not having them around any more...

3 years? I can't believe that.
It's so hard to lose the fur babies. I lost my Wendell (my heart) in October and I'm still not over it. Come by my blog and see my new babies, Nancy.
Pug Hugs and Happy New Year to you.
