In Memory of an Angel - Bonita the Pug

Bonita, Puggy Angel
16X20

My friend Jacki, a Dallas Fort Worth Pug Rescue volunteer, and her husband Martin lost their puggy girl Bonita to GME Encephalitis recently. This is the same disease that took my Winnie Wiggles in January. Since Bonita's passing, Jacki and Martin have opened up their hearts and homes to two new pugs they have adopted from DFW pug rescue, Sophie Too and Sleepy. This portrait is dedicated to Bonita, a pug angel who was loved beyond words and will never be far from her mom and her dad's hearts.

Great job, Nancy! Bonita had beautiful folds in her forehead - so artistic looking! I'm sure her Mommy and Daddy will treasure your special painting.

That is a great portrait! You are truely talented! I'm sorry that they lost their pug & sorry you lost your Winnie Wiggles. I would be so sad if I lost my Mommy, & I know she would be crushed if she lost me.

Thank you so much for painting our
Bonita. You captured her essence in the portrait. She was a very sweet, precious and loving little girl. I had her almost 6 years and her daddy has been with us for the last 4 years, in fact she went to sleep in his arms for the last time.
Nancy you are such a sweet and talented artist and we both thank you for giving us a part of our baby back.
